Maurika Flores is a retired Army Veteran with 21 years of service.  She always considered herself both a servant and a leader.  Maurika Flores have proudly served this country and had the honor of leading some of the finest Soldiers to ever join the ranks of the military.  As a minority and a female Soldier, she was always motivated to be the best that she could be.  Maurika Flores knew that she always needed to be more proactive in order to be invited into rooms filled with people who looked nothing like her. Even when she was invited, oftentimes her ideas, voice and hard work were glossed over.  Nonetheless, Maurika Flores continued to speak boldly and proudly while teaching her Soldiers how to navigate in a world that may not always favor who they are or what they look like. She continued to teach them what is required to stand out from their peers and how to set themselves up for success.  Many of her Soldiers didn't know how to write a resume nor were they comfortable with speaking, and needed to develop their leadership skills. 

Although Maurika Flores is retired, she is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders.  Maurika Flores is privileged of assisting our future leaders through JIT-C. This organization allows her to continue serving our young people in a different capacity, but with even more significance.  

Accomplishments to Date:

• Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Arizona - Psychology (2015)
• Master's Degree from Liberty University - Human Services Counseling ( 2020)
• Graduate Certificate from Strayer University - Branding and Marketing  (2022)
• Currently enrolled in 2nd Master's program at Liberty University with a Major in Non-Profit Management (est 2024)

Miranda Daniel hails from Southwest Atlanta, where she spent her formative years. After graduating from Westlake High School, she made the pivotal decision to join the U.S. Army, embarking on a 20-year career of service. Her dedication and prowess led to a distinguished career, culminating in her retirement in 2021 as a highly decorated Soldier.

Equipped with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, and Department of Defense Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Prevention Certification, Miranda is also a Registered Neutral for the State of Georgia. 

Beyond her professional accomplishments, she finds deep fulfillment in mentoring young individuals, drawing inspiration from the diverse tapestry of backgrounds they bring to her guidance.

O’Keyla Cooper is a public affairs and communications professional who manages a broad range of communications and public relations issues for public and private sector clients in many fields.

O’Keyla’s current and past clients include federal and provincial governments, fortune 500 companies, leading industry associations, and not-for-profit organizations. She currently works with leaders and subject matter experts in state health departments to provide important health information to through a variety of channels and delivers media and crisis communication training for spokespeople.

Candice Dillard is a Covington Ga in a family of Five kids. She attended Eastside High School in Covington Ga and went on to achieve an Associate in Health Studies and worked as a Certified Respiratory Therapist. Candice Dillard later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from Clayton State University.  In 2008, she joined the Army National Guard and received a Honorable Discharge in 2018.  Candice Dillard currently work for the Army National Guard as Financial Service Technician and joined Non Profit organization Jit-C in 2022 to represent our community youth. 

Dr. Tiffany J. Hall has been educating students for 20 years and counseling individuals, families, and groups for more than 10 years. She is extremely passionate about helping others live joy filled lives. 

In her approach, Dr. Hall infuses compassion, relatability and transparent dialogue to guide her clients through a journey of self-reflection.  Her belief is that when we are honest with ourselves about who we are and how things affect us, we can make the proper adjustments within the most important areas of our lives.
